Our collection is designed by identifying environmental impacts throughout the product's entire life cycle, with the aim of minimizing them. This is how we achieved ISO 14006 in Ecodesign. A clear example of this is this Paterna model, a design made with minimal elements, strategically designed to facilitate the recycling process. It is made with only five materials: leather, a rubber sole, cotton cord, an EVA midsole, and recycled organic cotton.
Once this product's useful life is over, separating the materials will be quick and easy. By cutting the stitching that joins the pieces, all the elements will be separated for easy recycling.
And what happens next? The rubber sole is 100% recycled, obtaining new rubber for new soles. The EVA sole can also be recycled, and finally, the leather: if we shred it and mix it with other waste, it can also be reused. This is how we contribute to an eco-designed model designed to reduce the impact on the planet. And all this without sacrificing the comfort and quality of our brand. This is a functional, versatile design with a wide fit and soft leather that will impress everyone.
