The semi-gloss finish is the most characteristic of our brand: a very special leather with a beautiful shine, hand-treated by brushing it with natural beeswax. This process is what gives our brand its authenticity. A large percentage of our collection is made from this type of leather and, to care for it, our leather treatment centre, Pies Cuadrados, develops the creams and products you need to keep your Pikolinos looking like new. To care for your Pikolinos, follow the basic steps of our most classic cleaning routine:
Here are the instructions to follow to clean your Pikolinos shoes and bags.
Remove excess dirt with a slightly damp cotton cloth or a natural bristle brush.
Let it dry and, carefully, apply the cream in the appropriate colour over the entire shoe using the applicator or a small sponge.
Once dry, polish the shoe by gently rubbing it with a clean, dry cotton cloth or a natural bristle brush.
Nourish your Pikolinos with the beeswax sponge, which will restore the leather’s natural shine and help keep them looking like new.
Once dry, put the laces back in and insert shoe trees or lasts so they keep their shape and are perfectly preserved from one season to the next. Remember to let them dry away from draughts and direct sunlight.
