With our unisex barefoot line, we respond to the demand of consumers who seek a free and light gait but don't want to give up the warmth, softness, and comfort offered by Pikolinos leather. Our brand's first Barefoot model, validated by the UMANA Biomechanics Center, is the ultimate expression of what's essential: your feet. A very lightweight natural rubber sole and a last that adapts to the natural shape of your foot. Wide, with no drop, it allows free movement of the toes and perfect conditions for sensing the environment. It's the most flexible design in our collection; it flexes completely and lacks heel counters in the rear area to promote softness and comfort with every step. However, if you think the transition to this type of footwear will be difficult, we've included an adaptive insole so you can gradually get used to this type of gait and remove it when you feel comfortable to achieve the most minimalism. This model also features a special metal-free tanning process and is the most sustainable model in our collection due to its biodegradability. It's hypoallergenic and also features a breathable technical lining. A very special model that furthers our commitment to reducing our environmental impact in our production processes.
